Chart paper according to classes |
Use this graphic representation for the first estimating of a device: |
In total there are about two dozen of classes. Every class is labelled with a number in a circle. The first dozen devices are powered by one or two men. The output from the device is to be read on the oblique lines. The power is given in watt. To indicate that the discussion is about output some like to use the term water watt. The oblique lines on the bottom concern the volume as a function of flow and time. Normally volume is given in m3 but if we are working with irrigation an other dimension is convenient. This is one hectat multiplied by one centimetre [ ha · cm ]. One hectarcentimetre is equal to 10,000 m2 · 0.01 m = 100 m3. So 8 ha cm = 800 m3. If you click on one of the circular labels you will get all the photos dealing with that class. You may find your device by using a rough draft ! |
